Parks in Upper Frederick Township
Township Parks:
Bob Wyland Memorial Park is located at 351 Fagleysville Road. From Upper Frederick Township Website:
Bob Wayland Memorial Park is a scenic 100-acre area in Upper Frederick Township purchased with the assistance of the Montgomery County Open Space Program. Bob Wayland Park is undergoing continuous improvements thanks to the assistance of township resources, grant money, local Boy Scout troops, volunteers, and the Upper Frederick Park Board. Enhancements recently made as a part of local Eagle Scout projects include a fence bordering Fagleysville Road and a series of plaques illustrating and providing information on native plants and animals. Other Park amenities include a 1/2 mile millings trail which has recently been expanded deeper into the park and a one-acre plot of milkweed planted in an effort to attract monarch butterflies back to the area.
Speelhoffer Park is located at 271 Colonial Road. This is now a Dog Park.
Frederick Friendship Park is located on the grounds of the Upper Frederick Township Municipal Campus.
